I think it's time to move on.

Twelve years, five months, and eight days is a long time for an online existence.

I still need a place to write my thoughts. I just don't know if this is that place anymore.

I catch myself looking on LJ a lot these past few months. I do miss it, in a way. It is a good place to write a few paragraphs of your thoughts. Facebook to me lately is all about show and tell or "pay attention to me". Thinking of posting more on LJ.

Algae for me seems to be a hybrid of the sunken cost fallacy, an archive of me, and nostalgia... I'm not ready to give it up, although I'm certainly using it less and less. I'm in for the long haul. I guess?

All the posts are still there, just private now, as well as archived in my hard drive. I still need to write, to create, to express. But I need to do it differently.

How did you archive your posts? I used to use an archiving software but it no longer functions.

I am still here; shrug however longer I do not know.

Well, MOST of it is archived. Alas, the program I was using is also now uncooperative, so nothing past 2012 is saved.
