FUCK YOU. i got a 4 on the ap test. i always get a's in english. so i'm lysdexic, FUCK YOU! ....anyway. what i'm saying is don't let him discourage you from taking the class if you already payed for it.

Don't quit the class. Like you say, it's been paid for, you'd have to make up the credits, and I assume at this point in the semester you've done a fair amount of work for it. Plus, if you quit every class where you weren't crazy about the course for some reason, you'd be shit out of luck.

But I think it's really cool you stood your ground. He was probably really surprised, and that's why he got all red-faced.

Oh, I didn't mention, but this course is just an enrichment class; I'm on a leave of absence from my university, preparing, with these courses, to go back. So it's not quite such a big deal if I quit, plus, there've only been like 4 classes so far. No real homework, no real investment besides the money, which is not to say that the money doesn't matter.

If this is inarticulate I apologize. I've just had rather a shock.

That sucks... My biology teacher yelled at me last week cause my cell phone when off during class... It was really not cool cause after it went off he was like 'I'm sure you weren't the one with the high score on the exam.' I didn't even know what to say to that but hell, teachers should want to be teaching. They shouldn't be yelling and arguing with their students. They should make you want to be there. Other teachers could care less and its not really cool but sometimes you just have to deal with it. Which I'm sorry for...

It angers me when people who clearly are not interested in having their students think and gain knowledge wind up as teachers. If you do continue with the class, props to you for sticking with it. If you don't though, props to you for getting out of a useless class. I guess this is one of those situations where what you actually learn has absolutely nothing to do with what's on the syllabus? As in, character building (hehe) and dealing with annoying people and suchlike.

And this is sort of late because I've been on fall break with very little internet time, but I hope you're doing okay. Also I miss you and would like to skype sometime.
