I deliberated on this for a while, but in the end I decided to be brave. I'm posting the beginning to a sort of ghost story, imaginative story that I'm writing. Not sure where it's going exactly. Maybe I won't finish it. If I do, I'll post again. Should I post any of my poetry or other fiction

Sounds great to me. At least if you finish it. Is the old lady a ghost? Or does the old lady see ghosts? I think the latter might be more intriguing, but doubtless you already have stuff planned. Keep it going!!

the old lady is a dead transient. i'm actually not sure if there will be ghosts in this story. thanks for the compliment and the suggestion!
