Help! I need somebody! Help! I have a character in an original fic that I need a name for...only a first name though, and it's annoying me... I have an rl friend working on this also, however, something mythical or goddessy or planty or a place even or Doctor Who-ey or anything really would help me...

Her surname is Trefusis so something that fits

Jurma (Finish legend name), Kalwa (means heroine), Halima (means gentle), Nathifa (pure)? (They really do exist, even if they sound a bit... strange.)

You know, you can get LJ to send you e-mails when someone votes in a poll and it'll tell you what they voted for as well.

It's in the Message Settings. There's an option to notify when someone votes in a poll you post.

As for names, the random name generator on behindthename.com has all kinds of categories to choose from, including mythological, biblical, Ancient Greek/Roman/Celtic/Germanic, plus witch, fairy, and Transformer! And it'll tell you the meaning of it too :)
