It's not the Bible that scares liberals, more the people who read it and believe in it.
A bit like the Koran, really: interesting book, shame about the folk that take it too seriously.

But aside from my stupid ranting literalism: 'Taxorcism' - brilliant.

Y'know, I get the feeling that the human capacity for self-delusion is our most important defining characteristic: it will certainly be the one that wipes us out.

Completely agreed. Taken from my favorite "retro" strategy game of all time, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri:
