I notice the British aren't peeing their pants over the recent attempts. They're more concerned about the rain, and they've thrown out the politician most associated with the "code orange" hysterics that are politics as usual over here.

That's pretty funny considering how Boston reacted to the great Mooninite attack of January 2007

I think you mean "lose."

"Lose" is the verb, and "loose" is the adjective.

I think loose can be a verb, but it's not the one he's looking for here.

Agreed. You can certainly set something loose.

Set would be the verb there.

Loosen is a verb...not loose.

Not too bothered about it all my dears. Boms come, bombs go, London endures. If I get blown up, I'll be bloody annoyed, but there you go; I'll come back and haunt the terrorist bastard's dreams: more than that I cannot foresee.
Thankfully the chaps involved this time, despite being doctors (what is going on), proved hellish incompetant. Probably something to do with the Hippocratic oath being rather in conflict with normal terrorist goals. Ineptitude aside, even when we had chaps who were efficient at this sort of thing (ie The Boyos), it didn't change our behaviour much. Even the Blitz didn't really get Londoners to change too much, at least not in essentials.
The trick now is to get these deluded idiots to spill their contacts and networks, and then see if they can redeem themselves in any way. Ideally, there would be some leper colony that needed medics....
