And the worst part, is that some people are already trying to spin it as if the kids were somehow the bad guys.

That's one of the neat things about skin color for police: it makes it so easy to tell
the bad guys from the good guys.

It's especially noticeable in the video, how it's only the non white kids that get hassled. In fact, the kid shooting the video even talked about it later, how the cops didn't even notice him, a white kid. That he felt invisible. Whereas his friends, who were black were practically attacked by the guy.

I wonder what the guy would have done, if it had been a black kid filming him, instead of a white kid.

Yep, I've already seen some people sharing a piece from Breitbart trying to blame the girl for what happened to her. Ugh.

The 14 year old white Duggar kid deserves nothing but forgiveness and compassion but that 14 year old black girl earned herself a good thumping.

This whole incident confuses and terrifies me in equal measure. Because that neighbourhood looks exactly like the one my Dad lives in, in Florida. I'm confused as to what that police officer thought was happening there with a bunch of kids clearly attending a pool party/cook-out. I hope he gets punished to the full extent.

The other thing that concerns me in that video is all the Caucasian adults who are just standing around as the officer harassed that girl. What's up with that?

IIRC, some of those folks are the ones that called the police about the "disturbance" of, you know, melanin touching their pool water.

Of course, because skin colour is something that will wash off in chlorine... *facepalm*

Why does 2015 America look like 1965 America? What the hell?!?!?!

Also, with regards to the cop's "Paul Blart" combat roll maneuver:

I genuinely LOL'd at that when I saw it on the news. I guess he could have tripped and just be very athletic and watch too many bad cop shows, which would be cool under different circumstances.

What really bothered me was that he was running and tripping and rolling WITH HIS GUN IN HIS HAND. Way to go, Mr. Bond!

I laughed when the kid gave the cop bully back the flashlight that fell out of his belt when he was all adrenalined up.
