Cue the immediate rule change to ensure this never happens again.

But what kind of rule could that be? No blacks can vote in the Republican primaries? ;)

If I understand correctly, Cochran was able to take advantage of a quasi-open primary rule that permitted voters to vote in the Republican primary if they hadn't voted in the Democratic primary. The needed rule change would just close down primaries so only Republicans could vote for Republicans.

And the Tea Party sent people to voting locations, hoping to intimidate people of the wrong sort away. Clearly this did not work.

Perhaps the GOP will slowly come to realize that inviting all of these vipers into their big tent is a bad idea.

What an uproar from the hard right:
the GOP worked with the Dems -
they can say goodbye to their base.

Or taunts like that.

A civil war threatens to break out among the Republicans.

It was a sweet play against the Teabaggers,
but I don't know how long the tide of fascist zombies can be held back.

McDaniel was so mad. Delicious.

Also, if these cowards want to pretend they belong to another party, go ahead and found one and quit mooching off the GOP's resources.
