Ah, homosexuality is the problem, not the guns. Fox is just a regular reality-creating machine. They are rather like the old communists with their doctrinaire Marxism - bending all facts into that ideological prism.
That's ridiculous. He was angry at men because they were successful with women while he was not, and somehow in his mind he took that as a personal offense. As if seeing a young couple in love was something that was done to him, and they were wrong for being in a relationship in public while he was around.
But even so... if that was true, to me, that would be an argument to create an environment in which young men and women were free to act on whatever "homosexual impulses" they felt, instead of being in denial, bottling them up, feeling stigmatized and alone, etc. Which kind of points the finger at Fox News and the right wing for supporting anti-gay policies for the past few decades or so. If you want to continue that crazy logic Fox News started, that is.
I think there is some truth to that "criminals don't obey laws, so why make laws around guns" argument. For example, a restaurant bans guns. So everybody is following the rule until the criminal comes in with the gun and shoots everyone. What was the point of banning the guns?
In the same vein, we should ban all cars because they cause people to get in accidents and die.
So I'm not really sure the right answer. I don't understand the gun craze personally...nothing was more a pain in the ass than hauling around that damn m-16 in the Army - I was my company grenade launcher too so of course my rifle was much heavier than everyone else's with that big launcher strapped to the barrel.

Surely you realize what a terrible comparison this is. A car is a tool for transportation. Which is why we use the term car accident when a death or injury occurs. Target-shooting and sports notwithstanding, guns are specifically designed to maim and kill.
are you saying that since criminals break gun laws we shouldn't have gun laws> They break the laws against murder, too. Should we not have laws against murder.
