The child has 1 soul right now (baby on right) but if it's allowed to grow up, it'll have many more souls via devouring innocents (vampire on left). So, it could have either 1 soul or a billion.

The situation that I had in mind was that of conjoined twins, and whether its fetus should be aborted.
There is a less malevolent depiction of conjoined twins on display at the Ripley's Believe It of Not Museum in Baltimore.

Next trip to Baltimore, for sure. Estes Park used to have one of these places, but it's sadly nonexistent now.

I mean, what could be more exciting than looking at replicas and reconstructions of interesting things?
