Fraking fraking awesome and incredible. I'd quote all my dozen favorite lines here but I'm sorry, I have to go read this again. Immediately. I think it may be one of my favorite things you've ever written. Which is saying something.

You're too kind. Thank you so much. :) I wrote it fast! I was proud for a moment, because I write so slowly. (Then I saw the uncompleted fics on my hard drive and pride was obliterated.) It felt good to finish something. Laura

This is my new favorite everything.

Holy hell, it's beautiful and clever and fresh. I especially love the full-circle bruising, the way their communication seems equally verbal and physical, the palpable relaxation--not quite relief--that immediately ushers in a deepening of their affection for each other. You almost trick us into thinking that whatever happens next doesn't matter; of course, it matters quite a lot, but we're assured that the most important people are already in the room, the most important conversation has already happened.

Oh wow. Thank you. Thank you. I like symmetry; I like to use repetition to get a point across, and I'm always pleased when it pleases someone else. I like revealing things in little peeks, too, though I've not mastered the short-short, tending instead, to be quite long-winded; perhaps with practice. ;) Laura

Holy crap that was awesome. Just straight up incredible. It's amazing how you made such a fucked up situation feel so freeing, it's like the reader is exhaling along with Andy and Miranda. By the end of the story it feels like the worst is already over, even though logically shit hasn't even begun to hit the fan. This was a wonderful way to end the day!
