my icon said, "fuck the colorblind" in a way that colorblind people such as myself would not be able to read it. then pastor lenny gave me a two minute window- during which time i was not at the computer- to change my icon. i figured i would be forgiven and welcomed back anyhow, despite my grave offense, but alas, he saw fit to delay the turning of the other cheek and to simply end my membership to your awesome community. i've always enjoyed the posts and wanted only to see the opinion of others on a certain passage, but it would seem that nobody cared to look at the content of my entry and saw only this dark and evil thing in my icon. how sad :(

Hey, sorry to invade your private journal. But not too long ago I posted in tqc asking about telescopes for my son. You recommended a really good one, but I've since lost my bookmarks. Can you remember what you recommended?

I just recall that it was small and bulbous and could be carried easily.

The Astroscan! From the venerable Edmund Scientific. The factory store was near my house growing up and I would often wander around in it for hours. They had a working WWII era submarine periscope!
