Twenty-second part of a work in progress
Title: You Became to Me (as suggested by avari_maethor)
*Pairing: Mainly Anakin/Obi-Wan with some mention of Padmé
Rating: Fairly PG-13ish now, but inevitably at least an R (?)
Disclaimer: I do not own the lovely boys from Star Wars, more's the pity! What I do have is an extremely contrary muse that refuses to shut up ( Read more... )

Just a quick note - Dooku is actually Qui-Gon's height. They're both 6'4" Just something that stood out at me. :)

Oh, yes, Dooku is much taller than Anakin, quite clearly so. The suit adds something like half a head of additional height to Anakin once he's become Vader. I believe that they put lifts in Hayden's shoes to make sure he'd come up to the 6'7" mark in the suit in RotS . . .

I've edited in a few changes that hopefully accurately reflect their heights. Can you maybe please (pretty please with sugar on top?) read it and tell me if it sounds okay to you?

That was so emotional! And I love every bit of it!

The Sith'ari is essentially the Sith counterpart or interpretation of the figure that is known to the Jedi as the Chosen One. The Chosen One is, of course, supposed to bring balance to the Force, and the Jedi assume that this balance will be brought about by defeating the Dark Side and that it will bring an end to the dark times foretold of in the prophecies of the Chosen One. The Sith'ari is said to be a perfect being who will rise to power and bring balance to the Force. In Star Wars canon and EU, it's pretty much assumed that the Sith prophecies of the Sith'ari and the prophecies of the Jedi Chosen One refer to the same individual, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (who, let it be remembered, is presented as quite possibly a creation of Darth Plagueis, the Sith Master who taught Sidious), who makes the Sith stronger than ever by ( ... )

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for explaining it.

Oh, no problem. If I'm going to have something like the Sith'ari in my work, I'd better be able to explain it, right?
