Next part of the Fish Climbing Trees Series. Maybe something a bit OT3ish since the last two parts were kind of hinting at that and Buffy/Mcoy/Kirk is ridiculously hot, and also strangely functional.

No problem, I know you said no Fish Climbing Trees verse but are you opposed to a Buffy/Mcoy/Kirk fic with a completely differenct prompt?

Star Trek reboot/BtVS/Dresden

Buffy/Bones
Past Buffy/Dresden

Dresden wandering through space, ends up on a destination (ie pleasure) planet (any means: vacation, his ship breaks down...) just before he departs, sees and old friend (Bones) and is shocked to see him with and even older friend (Buffy) previously thought dead.

Of course the 'I got better' line is key. It can turn into a threesome or be something totally platonic between either of them.

Side element:
Despite the length of his friendship with Dresden and countless examples, Bones still isn't convinced magic is real. Dresden can accidentally reveal Buffy's supernatural origins
