Kurt is stereotypical gay. If they want to be progressive he should be gay and not readily recognizable as such.
Yes, some gays are like he is. A lot are also not as flamboyant.
And seriously - whoever writes it needs to be shot. Inconsistencies everywhere, unbelievable characters to the extreme, etc.
Arrested Development had over the top characters too, but at least it was believable somehow.

Why do you watch it if it bugs you so much? I know why I watch it (both ostensible and real reasons), but I'm honestly baffled why you do. :p

About Kurt, he is like my favorite character. Not because he is gay but because he is what people perceive as stereotypically gay. Some stright people I know have said "he is so gay" LOL I know people whose "flame" burns way pinker than his! What will piss me off if when they find him a "boyfriend" as it is rumored that there is one in the storyline this season is if they make the boy friend effeminate too, because just like Curt being one of the "gurls" or "biyatch" there are those gay boys that no one would even think gay, of course then there are the gay boys that no one would think gay until they open there mouth and talk...LOL...
This weeks Glee is on my agenda to watch tonight..unless Supernatutral silences Glee.

Yeah if the boyfriend is effeminate too -- I'll be very disappointed. Very.
Bitch! Supernatural better silence Glee! Which season are you in?
