Yeah, my TB high is gone and I'm pretty sure it's the show and not me. And I agree with you about Eric and Hadley. When she came out strutting in her lingerie and Eric grabbed her? Damn. They look fucking amazing together.

We have 4 more eps to go and I really hope they get better.

I think the show is pushing the fans too far. I know some people are still loving it but it's not enjoyable to watch a show that makes me squirm. I am hanging in there because there are times I really do enjoy it a lot. Then there are times I'm left gaping and disturbed.

I LOVED when Eric grabbed her. She's like a tiny little pixie in his arms and it's like he could fold his whole body around her. The shoulders, the arms. I love the way he gently held her face in place when he was whispering to her and when he was biting her. If my S&M side ever wants to be indulged it will be with these two, not Sookie/Bill.

Yummy avi!

I had a post about this ep a few days ago, and (minus the books vs. show analysis) I had pretty much the same take on it. Sookie is addicted. To Bill's blood and to this rush she gets with the love/whatever. Although I do think they are stressing this point, and that's why she is appearing stupider and stupider by the minute. They have been drawing the parallels the entire episode. It's all about abused women addicted to their abusers. From Tara to Arlene, to Jessica (to a degree), to Crystal, to Melinda, to Hadley. To Sookie. All forms of addiction/abuse. Heck, they even have Tommy shout at his mother when she says she is going back to Jo Lee: "What has he done but knock you up and DRAIN YOU DRY ( ... )

I had a read of your anonymous replies. I confess, I seldom watch my typos on LJ and usually find a lot - but those anonymous comments were certainly special. :) I know some people don't have LJs and that's why they're anonymous, but mostly I think it's cowardly to not sign in if you have an account before you call someone personal names. If you want to spill vitriol, have the guts to own your words. (One time an anonymous person left a preachy biblical passage to one of my TV reviews - it was about expectations being a sin bound to lead to disappointment...I was too stunned to be angry and/or amused. It was just strange given that everyone whines and extrapolates on their opinions on LJ ( ... )
