Personally, I'd like to see Trump resign, and let Mike Pence take over. Trump will be eternally dogged as long as he is president, and we need a stable government now more than ever in these critical times. Pence would be free of any taint of scandal - real or contrived - and IMO he would be a much more effective Chief Executive, and head of the Republican Party, too. Plus, if Trump were to resign now, Pence could serve out the rest of Trump's term, then be elected to two terms in his own right, meaning he could potentially be in office for 10 years. With that length of time, he could replace most of the Supreme Court with an unassailable conservative majority for decades

Mike Pence would only be able to serve one further term, unless Trump waited until halfway through. The maximum is (just under) 2.5 terms.

But they're ready for a President Pence. The media has already declared him "insane" for talking to God ... and he's used exactly the same phrasing as Oprah Winfrey, but they ignore that.

They've already launched an attack on Pence's daughter. John Oliver has written a parody of the daughter's children's book about her rabbit, A Day in the Life of the Vice President. I understand that Oliver's parody features gay rabbit sex with apparent cameos by famous trans-gendered personalities. They're not done with Charlotte yet, and certainly not done with her father
