Somebody commented on my Goodreads.com review of Tom Kratman's Caliphate, which simply described what the story was about, and Kratman's notes on Islamic culture and history. I have been reading his Carnifex series and liking it. LTC Kratman is a very interesting person. He is on FB and we are "friends" and he has commented fairly often on my postings. Cool fellow overall.

Yes, he is. His books are very much worth reading -- and they are frightening glimpses of possible futures, ones we should try at all costs to avoid. And then that pinhead put his "lulz" stamp on my review. I know there are plenty of people that ignorant, but to have it thrown in my face like that is sickening. (You can bet he'd never actually read the novel -- it's "politically incorrect," and God forbid one of his cronies might find out he's actually reading something!
