Yes been a pet peeve of my about Science Fiction movies for years how corporations became the villain.

Alien is a prime example of it. Inception -- made years after Alien -- is another, but far more subtle. All of them leave a very bad taste in the mouth. When wll people catch on?

Y'know, I looked at the title of this one and thought, "Businesspeople are the new national socialist workers?!?" Uh, Doublethink much? Left is right, up is down, black is white?

Yes. You have to understand that while the Left comprises countless vicious shitheads, those same shitheads are also living in Fantasyland. This isn't the days of the glory of the Soviet Union, comrade -- the heroes of that time would be weeping in despair at just how stupid and ignorant their (spiritual) offspring are. And Orwell would probably be laughing his ass off over the evolution leading to those offspring.

Seriously, the jerks "protesting" today are dumb as stumps and twice as ignorant. But I think they got that one from the fact that for some sixty years, the media have equated the Nazis with the right, and other Socialist groups with the Left, simply because Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union and thereby set off WW2. That equation stuck, and is now embedded so firmly in the minds of most people today that getting it out would require mining nukes.

It's still stupid, though.
