Noctilucent clouds

I just came in from my balcony. The evening sky is a gorgeous, lambent, pellucid shade of blue with a slight tinge of green in it, just what you'd expect when the Sun, Moon, and Mercury are all in the sign Cancer. And to the north was a host of noctilucent clouds, threads and streamers of glowing, pale cloud swarming the sky to the north and west

It could happen. A few years ago I saw some stunning AB light shows in Seattle, one hot summer evening. I hope you get your wish!

My problem is that either it's overcast or I'm not outside anywhere when they hit. I'd have to be in Bozeman, Montana or something if I wanted to see them. {sigh}
