Chip Davis, AKA CW McCall, is also the musician behind Mannheim Steamroller. If you listen to the synth parts in that opening with this in mind, you should be able to "see" it.
Oh, I know. I looked up his biographies on the Web some months ago, after I discovered how good his C. W. McCall music was. And I'd run across Mannheim Steamroller videos last Christmas, including some that show houses in the snow decorated with Christmas lights that flash on and on in synch with the music. I was stunned when I learned that Davis was the genius behind both. :-D
