You want to know just how crazy the Greens are? How about this?
One of my neighbors was having a shouting match with a Green down in the parking lot this morning. The Green was ranting that "All humans ought to be fed into the ovens! Humans ought to become extinct!"
So my neighbor said, "So you don't want us to go on trying to rescue injured and sick wildlife, replenishing endangered populations of amphiabians from breeding projects, and otherwise doing what we can to make up for the damage that's already done and protect the life of our world?" (I'm not kidding -- my neighbor is a very thoughtful, erudite, civilized individual. He doesn't cuss, but he sure gets his points across.)
So this Green, a young man of about 25 wearing camos, an old hunting jacket, and heavy boots, yelled back, "No! You humans don't deserve to make up for your crimes! And Mother Earth ought to be punished for allowing you to evolve!" Then he turned and stalked away.
Since when isn't behavior like that indicative of total insanity?
