Maybe somebody out there can write a book tracing the O.T.O from its origins and its influence on the Thule Society, Nazi Germany, A. Crowley, Jack Parsons, L. R. H**** and Scient*****; the Manson Family, Son of Sam, etc. Where will its legacy pop up next?

Where will its legacy pop up next? I'm a Jew, myself -- and the founding of the state of Israel sure looks Thelemic to me. There was Hiroshima (dowside), Apollo XI (upside), the Rape of Nanking (downside), the birth of the Internet and World Wide Web (upside?), thousands of other things. Groups are the least of it -- they are the froth on the grand currents of history, including all the history of life on Earth, not just human history. How will you trace the influence that the OTO (or any other Thelemic body) has had on the collective unconscious, via quantum connectedness rather than via books, instruction, etc.? Only the signatures in the grand currents reveal it.
