At the risk of sounding semi-coherent since I am very tired right now, I just wanted to make a note in my LJ that yesterday (Thursday, since it is midnight on Friday as I write this), I officially began revisions on the Mae Fortune novel. I wanted to wait at least until I had written her backstory and gotten to know her better before plunging back

w00t! I'm so excited to read the first part of it again when you write it. I understand if you're not ready for that stage of things yet, but I just thought I'd let you know I'm excited to read the book again when you get the first part edited to your happiness!

:) It's good to know I've got an enthusiastic audience waiting! A part of me can't wait to share it already, even though I've gotten only a prologue and half of chapter one done.

But I think I'm gonna wait until I clean up at *least* the first four or five chapters before letting anyone read. However! You are right at the top of the list ;)

I figured. That will probably be a better idea, because the first 5 chapters or so is where you thought the problems really were. Didn't you pick up writing it again right at Chapter 5 anyhow?

Yeah, somewhere in the middle of Chapter 5 was where I came back to the story after a hiatus of a couple of years.
