My mom used to embarrass me by cranking up the stereo all the way whenever a Boston song came on the radio!

I want to meet your mum! Love those choices, and would have paid money to see the conga line at your wedding.

I'm absolutely blanking on what music my mother loved. Wow. She liked hymns from church, and she would buy the big Time-Life collections of like Christmas records, but I have no idea what songs she loved from her swing-time WWII youth. I know she danced the jitterbug, though :)

I have Jennifer Juniper on record. :D *cough*Donovan fan*cough* And, uh, Rock the Casbah on CD, but that's not as unusual.

My mom loves her some Johnny Cash, the Carter family, loved Bon Jovi back in the day (probably still does), contemporary country artists, the Stones, the Beatles...

But my favorite thing is when I go home for a visit (she and my dad live in PA; I currently live in WI), and I play CD mixes in the car, and once in a blue moon she likes something. Last thing I remember was "Lost of Love," by the Bad Plus. :)
