So this is Sunyshore City? Che! Nothing but a poor man's Vermilion. Lt. Surge may've been a little off his rocker, but even he didn't cause citywide blackouts from sheer boredom. My Pokemon are just as well bored though; I need something to get my passion back into battling

Well, I suppose you could go through the gyms like everybody else. I've heard rumors that the Leaders here have special teams that they have on reserve for accomplished trainers, though I'm not entirely sure how they define 'accomplished.'

See that's the thing with Gym Leaders: they all stick with one boring type. They're left wide open to any and all of that type's weaknesses. See, I'm better because I form a team of multiple types. I don't see why others would follow my lead; it'd make Gym battles interesting for once.
