The intruder simply stood there, ignoring Utau as it almost melted with relief at having gotten away from the hot afternoon sun. It didn't deign to answer the girl's questions...

As the sun stopped shining like a halo around the intruder, Utau's vision adjusted and she finally saw that it was... of all things, a pokémon. Even if it was a pokémon, it still shouldn't be backstage (since it'd probably get chased off if it was caught), but since it hadn't threatened her, Utau didn't really care what it did.

Still, she raised an eyebrow briefly at it, taking a sip of the drink that was beside her. Still no movement towards her as it glanced around.

"Are you wild?" She asked aloud - before coming to her own conclusion that she hadn't recalled seeing any pokémon like this one around Hearthome. She probably had in her time with Galatic... but she couldn't remember the name.

Utau didn't have to think up anything else before a certain growling ball of fluff had jumped in front of her, straight between her and the pokémon. Iru, her poochyena. "Yena," it growled, poised to spring. "Yena, Na."

If the knuckle-cracking was supposed to scare off Iru, it wasn't much of a success - for Iru, at any rate, as a Ralts that had just appeared out from behind the table retreated back the way it had came. Instead, Iru's fur bristled as she sunk lower to the ground, the glare being enough to kill-- well, if it was bigger, perhaps. More menancing looking would have been a plus ( ... )
