Walking aimlessly around the Eterna City edges, Kakashi and his Glameow were enjoying the last rays of natural light. Of course, Kakashi was also preoccupied by his book, which Glameow noted grouchily.

Let it be said that she really hated competing against an inanimate object for his attention.

"Gla-Gla-Meeoow."

"..."

"Glameow!"

"....."

Growling lowly, Glameow was poised to nip at his ankles but Kakashi managed to stop her with a short, "I know. Dinner."

The feline pokemon snorted, and was ready to trail after him obediently but stopped short...There was a scent in the air...It smelled like...

Grilled fish!

Eyes narrowed in interest (with her stomach gurgling in support), she rumbled at Kakashi before dashing off towards food. Her ears twitched when she heard steady footfalls behind her and knowing that her trainer is following, she picked up speed towards the forest...

...And eventually ended up at a campsite. Glameow stared at the girl and her Totodile before turning around, catching sight of her trainer's silver hair behind the foliage.

Her head perked up at the sound of the ruffling branches and leaves behind her, slowly looking over her shoulder and not seeing anything, Tohru shrugged her shoulders and went back to work with the Souba and grilled fish. “Yap! Yap! Toto! Dile! Dile!” Agro snapped his jaws at the invaders aggressively, knowing they were there only not where he could actually see them. Sniffing at the air, he followed their scents, even though hidden by grilled fish; he traced them back to where the trees and vegetation was the thickest. “Totodile!” He growled, cheeks pushing up and his water shooting from his mouth the unknown strangers ( ... )

Wringing his now very wet hair absently, Kakashi glanced at the snapping Totodile and his timid trainer. At his heels, his soaked Glameow was spitting and hissing angrily and he had to tug at the bow around her neck to keep her in place.

At least it was only water and not fire.

He sighed and waved away the apology. "Yo. It's fine. No harm done." Scratching the back of his head, he queried, "Did we interrupt your meal?"
