[closed] starting out on a journey

Characters: Sakura and Fay.
Open/Closed: Closed
Location: Outside Eterna's pokémon center, but they'll be making their way to Hearthome throughout.
Time: Just before sunset.
Summary: Fai wanted company whilst travelling to Hearthome for the ball; Sakura wanted to go to the ball as well, so they decided to go together.

Sky blue eyes watched the sun tilt its way back down, and as it did, painted the skies with a beautiful orange light. It was time.

Making sure Fay had all of his belongings, Fay made his way to the entrance of the Pokemon center. He had been inside preparing Pidgeotto for her help in the case that they would need it for navigation. They, as in he and his female companion that would be coming along to Hearthome.

Pidgeotto, hopping up on her favorite spot, Fay's right shoulder, watched as Fay exited the center to find a small girl with a gang of Pokemon with her.

"Oh, hey there!" Fay called out cheerily. "You wouldn't happen to be Sakura-chan, would you?"

"Ah, yes!" Sakura responded, who had been looking in the opposite direction, until she spun round to see her would-be companion. "And you're Fay-san, right?" She added, with a smile, before continuing, "And this is Kero-chan," she indicated to her Teddiursa, who was sat licking his paws next to her, having successfully completed his mission.

Fay gave the girl a large smile.
"Yep, that's me!" Fay replied, cheerfully. Fay looked down at the small bear Pokemon. A cute Pokemon it was, unlike.....

Fay's thoughts were cut short as the Pidgeotto on his shoulder gave a warning glance at him. Fay let out a nervous laugh, and decided to introduce his own.

"This is my Pidgeotto." Fay started. "She'll be helping with navigation in the case we get lost."

"H-Hoe," Sakura stuttered, at the Pidgeotto's glare - it seemed quite meancing if it wanted to be, but she didn't let it faze her. She just had to start off on the right foot. "Nice to meet you, Pidgeotto-san," she said with a smile, before returning her attention to Fay.

"I've been to Hearthome lots of times," she said. "Though I still get lost sometimes, h-hoe..." she admitted. A lot of the time she had to rely on either Tomoe or Growlie's memory to get her from A to B. "If I get lost, though, my pokémon know the way."
