I love Furret, I'm totally using one in soul silver. They're actually not too shabby, and being normal type have a crazy movepool :D

I remember vaguely using one in Crystal and not liking it. Then again I was determined to level up all the unowns I could because I was convinced that they would evolve and combine into something awesome. I tried to fight gym leaders with them.

I did this too!! Some guy in my class was like U NOE, SOMETHING SPESHUL WILL HAPPN MHM, so I hardcore level grinded all the unowns and they all reached level 50 and nothing happened and they still sucked and I was so disappointed :(

Well rare candy leveled pokemon are weaker than trained ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if all of those red/blue candy leveled up pokemon had special needs.
