DPA! ended a few months ago to make way for a HGSS comic, but yes, it was in CoroCoro.

I'm betting, if they can't find a new magazine, they'll just go straight to press with it.

Yeah. I wonder if they're doing a general slow down on some of their less popular projects because of all the work going into getting One Piece caught u early next year? I'd think they could just hire a few more hands though.
