Translating pokemon games

Is anyone interested in translating some of the games into another language? I'd give you the text, any explanations necessary, and I'd insert the text into the game - all you'd need to do is translate. It doesn't matter if your language has letters that aren't already in the game, I can add those in

I could do Spanish but I'm sure there's already an official Spanish version.

I guess I could do Dutch... though goodness knows how long it would take, especially considering I really won't have a lot of time for this sort of stuff all summer.

If there's no hurry, then sure! It seems like a fun passtime. What kind of format/etc is the text in? Am I going to need to download anything to work on it or can I just use Word or Notepad? In any case, feel free to contact me at ariettetibbe at gmail.com :D

Well, there's a good way to translate grandson that doesn't give away the parent's gender, actually, and the word "pokémoner" for plural pokémon sounds terrible to be honest, even though it's not really wrong (I've never heard a pokémon player use that term, it's something my mother would say ;). Other than that, I wouldn't change it (except for I think one word that were split into two).
