Yesterday, when the fire alarm went off at five a.m., I grabbed my DS Lite and leveled my Pokemon while I waited for them to check out our building. Inspired by this, I come to you with a discussion question. What's the noisiest/strangest place you've ever played Pokemon?

When red and blue first came out, I used to sit on the asphalt during recess and play it. :P
Now, probably the mall or home depot. Whatever @ the fact that I'm 22. I do want I want.

I used to play on the asphalt too. We used to congregate and talk about how far we'd gotten, etc. after school on the bus, too.

my favourite story to tell people is that the coolest kid in school (his name was Tom) gave me 20 bucks to catch all 150 pokemon for him. Then after I caught them for him and returned his game, I challenge him to a battle and beat his Lvl 100 Mewtwo x 6 team with my Parasect. He cried. It was badass on my part.

yes, a parasect, the only pokemon in gen one that got STAB on the few bug moves super effective on psychic types without being poison. LOL

While at work, as a pizza delivery girl. I was chilling in my car in the Safari Zone in Ruby, and a Natu or Xatu popped up I think. My boss brought a pizza out to me to drive across town and I took it, but I didn't want to shut down the game. So I drove to the house with the steering wheel in my left hand and played Ruby with my right (GBA:SP fits in just one hand). I caught the Pokemon too.

The other day I accidentally locked myself out of the house, without my cell phone but with my DS. So I stood there in the garage until the neighbor got home and played Platinum. I felt stupid, but I evolved some Pokemon!

A bar on a Friday night. Sippin' on screwdrivers and beating trainers. Fabulous!

The noisiest place I've ever played Pokemon was sitting in the middle of an anime convention -- but since everyone and their dog was playing HG/SS and the place was swarming with pokewalkers, it wasn't exactly strange.

I got the Golem that saved my ass in Whitney's gym there, though. Motherfucking Miltank.
