B/W Preorder Necessary?

I originally wasn't going to buy my White Version right away, but there was a change of plans and now I'm going to GameStop tomorrow to purchase it. And my question is: Will I be able to? Among the masses of people who preordered, will I be able to get myself a copy, despite the fact that I didn't preorder?

Yes.
GameStop isn't the only store who took pre-orders, and not everyone was keen on pre-ordering from them because of a lack of information for a pre-order bonus.

Just go later in the day to purchase it, because there tends to be quite a line for the Pre-Orders, and they prioritize them first. At least they do at the store here when there's a huge line for pre-ordered games.

I got HeartGold the day it came out and I didn't pre-order. Every place was sold out except for.......WALMART.

So go to Walmart.

I think it depends on the kind of area you live in? Big populations vs the amount of games that would be shipped in, that sort of thing? I live in a medium population kind of town and have never had to pre-order game, and was able to get them in the opening week, assuming the shipment came in on time.

However like already mentioned, if all of GameStop's stock is pre-order claimed, they won't sell you it. But most major retail chains (Wal-mart, k-mart, target, etc) should carry the game too, and are usually a bit cheaper than GameStop, unless it's just in my area that they jack up the price. ~_~ Anyway, good luck! :D

You could probably go to walmart right now and pick it up. I got mine from walmart around midnight
