Guh. They are annoying. They have to be in the red and with a status condition, else it's a pain in the butt.
Just keep throwing Pokeballs at them. Any ball works. I usually end up catching them with pokeballs or great balls because I run out of ultra.

Thanks =)

i was jsut finding it so difficult because no one in my team knew any moves to put them to sleep. But i think i'll train up something that has hypnosis to make it easier.

No problem.
If you have one that knows Thunder Wave, that works too.

Tip #1: Don't give up after twenty Ultra Balls. It sometimes can take anywhere from thirty to fifty. (Or as little as twelve, depending on your luck.) ^_^;

Really, though, I'm going to feel sorry for you when you beat the Elite 4 and wind up having to chase Entei/Raikou/Suicune around Kanto. No, really. That's probably going to get annoying after awhile, especially since they're just like they were back in GSC.

It's best to save Master Balls for:

Mewtwo, Suicune/Raikou/Entei, Latios/Latias..

You have infinite chances for catching every other (officially obtainable) Legendary. And really, it's not that hard.. many many times, I'm able to catch the birds or other things within 10 Ultra Balls. It takes practice.. Sand-Attack is your best friend, and then Thunder Wave or Sleep Powder is great.

*One more additional note.

Mewtwo (RBY), Suicune/Raikou/Entei (GSC or FRLG), Latios/Latias (RSE).

In FRLG, best to save Master Ball for Suicune/Raikou/Entei, NOT Mewtwo.
