Safari Zone?

Today, I decided to go and see what the Safari Zone was all about, and if it matched up to what it was back in the day.
Is it just me, or is it impossible to catch anything? I managed to catch the Geodue the Warden wanted me to, but everything else just... flees.
Any tips or tricks?
Otherwise I might throw my DS at a wall.

i've noticed certain pokemon tend to flee the first chance it gets, for example larvitar. D:<<

anyway, i spent the last two days in the safari zones. i managed to catch all the pokemon available. just try to stay patient, i suppose. and experiment with mud and bait. you'll get it C:

I've only managed to catch a few Pokemon, I'm getting really frustrated -_-. This is the hardest time I've ever had with a Safari Zone o_0.

Ach, yes. It took me forever to catch a Magmar. I didn't intend to use it. I just like Magmar.
