Congrats!!! That tower is pretty much the most annoying thing in the whole game in my opinion.
Lol well I always used my rayquaza to beat the E4. My teams were never good enough. xD

thanks! :D this was truly one of my top hardest catches EVER xD
Ive never used a legendary to beat the E4 before (usually because you have to beat them first! haha) but i'm really thinking this over, i dont want to screw him with the random EVs from the E4 but i also do want to beat this game sometime THIS year! xD so ya...

have any ideas of a nickname btw? :P

Congrats! :D I remember catching Rayquaza for the first time.. Anyway, I've always used mine to beat the E4 as well. If it was a good nature, such as Timid or Jolly, I might train it in speed and (sp.)attack.

thank you ^-^

haha ya, well Hardy is a neutral nature so it doesnt (+/-) anyhting. But he's already pretty high on his Sp. Atk and Speed which i LOVE so i might just go for it :P

Congrats! That awful little bugger always was the most difficult thing to catch in that game. As for the E4...maybe you could just train using the pokenav and Victory Road? That's what I did, even though it took a while. @_@ I'm assuming you're playing Emerald.

What about calling him Hydrophis? It's the genus of a venomous sea snake. :)

thank you for the awesome reply(:

how does one go about training with the pokenav? O.o? is that basically fighting wild pokes for the EVs i want?

(boy could i go for the VS Seeker rather than that blasted Match Call right about now!)

*on a side note, why do people call it the V-S Seeker? i always thought it was the VERSUS Seeker...since it finds you someone to go against lol

Somewhere online there's probably a list of what each trainer in your pokenav has, and you can use that to EV train. I may be incorrect, but I think battling other trainers' pokemon makes your pokemon grow faster, no? I could have sworn...but I may be incorrect.

But I dunno if the Pokenav is able to find wild pokemon...it's been a while since I played that game. ^^;

I thought it was the VERSUS Seeker too...@_@ I agree - because a battle is you versus someone else.

Also, if you really wanted to use the Rayquaza for the E4...you could always just get rid of its EVs at the end of your match - particular berries erase them, if you feed it. :3

i usually just go by a list that bulbapedia has on what every pokemon gives in evs then google for a list someone wrote on what trainers give what :P

and i know about those berries, and i avoid them like the plague xD i always worry that id give one of my other pokemon some of them and ruin what i did lol

but i do have a few, for collections sake, tho im not all sure how many i'm supposed to give, but thats what googles for(:

I have never beaten the E4 on Emerald without Rayquaza. I still haven't finished them with my current game, so I don't know if that will change :/ I made sure to teach more things Ice Beam.

haha i just taught my swampland (swampert)ice beam the other week. Figured i didnt need Dive anymore at this point and plus IB is stronger and makes a pokemon more diverse, yes?

good luck on your current game! :D

(: its ok, i had been hoping to try and get a shiny too but ive heard of people resetting for 300+ times for it :/ and besides, most people see a shiny legend and instantly think HACK. but to each his(or her) own. Believe it or not, i actually had been putting this off for about 2 months :P mostly because of that tower, i was like "7 floors of this crap? F*** this xD where's my firered?" :P
