I missed the darkrai event because I didn't know that they were having it for Diamond and pearl; I thought they were only having it for platnum (from what one of my friends were telling me.). Now I hear that there's one coming up for shaymin. Does anyone know when the event for shaymin will be? (^.^)

according to the official website you have till Sept 13th, its only Sept 1st...as for the Shaymin event, nothing has been announced.

Has anyone found out WHY it was Pt-only? Like, what the hell would they have to gain by this, especially since they've said their Arceus event will be for all games.

I think their message is "upgrade to platinum already so we can use the rotom/shamyin/giratina alternate forms in official pokemon battles already".

But yeah, I just assume it's a marketing thing.

The Darkrai event is still going on; however, it's only for Platinum. Nothing for the Shaymin event has been announced yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll be a Platinum-only event too.
