Is it possible to even play Pokémon TCG over online? q_q

Today I just somehow had this urge to buy Pokémon Platinum booster packs, and I did. I've also gone and bought 4 extra booster packs & whole pack (with 60 cards, the one with Gallade). This is first time I've bought any form of TCG cards, because last time I bought them was first booster pack of Gold/Silver days...

EDIT: Doesn't seem to be any in Scotland.

And with the Rotom card, that's the only holo they come in.

And figured - Scotland tends to lack events like this xD..and ah, thought it'd be 2 versions of Rotom-S. Glad it's only onetype.

Redshark is a program which allows online TCG games. You can download it from Pokebeach but it seems to be down at the moment...

Alot of TCG online games are down... o.o;; I'll check that when its up.

Redshark is the current vogue; a few years back a really nice program called OCTGN was the thing people were using. I prefer OCTGN to Redshark because it has you put down actual scans of the cards vs. being exclusively text-based; I'm just not sure and haven't checked as to whether OCTGN support was continued for sets past something like mid-EX or so.

I don't know a word of Spanish but when I was poking around earlier on Google I found a Spanish site with the first six DP sets.

Customizing OCTGN is something I haven't totally looked into yet, but it doesn't look easy and I don't remember it being easy back when I had to do it and knew what I was doing.

i downloaded the dp6 set, but haven't tried unzipping it. i was going to get my friend from south america to help me guide through the site

I've been to Edinburgh 2/3. Quite far...xP
Age-range is kinda hard to get by, especially how many TCG players are young as well older people, and I don't feel comfortable attending a group that's mostly under 16-18. o_O; (I'm 21)

nope, i find all of the cards online, one way or another (bulbapedia has been helpful) and we trust each other :-/

we're thinking about jumping onto msn messenger and using webcams

i believe i have the knowledge the build a bot but eh, that's a lot of time and effort i don't have at the moment

IRC chatrooms, lol. And I'll let you know when I get cards as well suitable program for those, although I've been thinking about using MSN/webcam for now..:P

But yeah, I just need to get more cards first. And find my old cards too. >_>
