Capture of Rayquaza, even EASIER than my Groudon..

I decided to hook Ruby up to Pokémon Box, since I wanted to take some pretty little pictures of the actual gameplay. Well, I arrived at Rayquaza's lair. I kept

Hehe.

Yeah, I doubt I'll be spared when trying to catch them. And my usual Sand-Attack tactics won't do me any good..

I think it's hilarious that you have a Marowak named Boner.

Seriously.

My friend named my starter Pokemon in Sapphire, Vibrator. And I was too lazy to start it over, so yeah. I have a Swampert named Vibrator now.

^^ It's so suitable, though, isn't it? And it's a male! With Thick Club!

Hehe. XD

Good deal.
I've caught Ray with one ultra ball before, but usually it takes me plenty more. I did the Swords Dance/False Swipe thing while he was sleeping.

The Regis aren't terribly hard, seeing as they can't regain health like Mewtwo and Rayquaza. Just whittle them down to critical health and toss balls at them. Sleep and Paralysis are helpful. If you have several timer balls, those also work well if they draw out the battle too long.

I didn't know Swords Dance would affect False Swipe's effect (I thought it was solely based on level comparison). :o

But when the battle is TOO long, they'll start to Struggle.. and more than three times I've experienced where they will KO themselves. Timer Balls haven't been too great for me, either. ;o[ Not on these Legendaries. But I have caught them all successfully in my first Ruby file... *cries*

Yep, False Swipe works like any attack. The only thing is it will always leave your opponent with 1HP.

I hate it when they struggle. Apparently, Struggle hits Ninjask even though it's not super effective. That's what happened when I went up against Latias w/ eon ticket.

:D I learn so much from you.

You mean Shedinja? ... THAT IS SO NOT FAIR. Wonder Guard is useless when defending against Hail. Ugh, that ticks me off.

(Although, I suppose it would be a bit fair. If the opponent had nothing else BUT Struggle, then well, the battle would either never end or they could simply not win against Shedinja otherwise.. or unless Struggle takes on a non-Normal type, for some reason? Highly doubtful..)

I didn't find the regis very difficult, nor Groudon. Somehow Kyogre was more of a pain for me though -- Latias and Latios were just annoying at times; what I ended up doing for them was using a team composed of only Wobuffets.

I recieved Pokemon Box in the mail a few days ago and noticed the screenshot option - is there a way to import these elsewhere or are they only useable in Pokemon Box?

Lucky. xD The Regis were so annoying for me.

^^; Lol, aww. I never thought of that. Latios and Latias are the only ones I'd use Master Balls for, since I'd be extremely angry if they ran away and I'd have to chase them again.

I honestly have no idea (but I doubt it..). :o[ I'm still trying to figure out how to use them in the Showcase area (but I have the instruction booklet, which I should just refer back to).
