Alright, next up in the Starter Team set is Johto. Generation II is a mixed bag for most people. Some love it, some hate it. Me? I think Johto's starters worked great in G/S/C, and then got the shaft when R/S/E switched all the TMs around. All of a sudden Feraligatr and Typhlosion lost the elemental punches, and with it, 90% of their type coverage ( ... )

I see your point on Feraligatr. I didn't think there was an easier way to get it ohter than breed DD and tutor IP in Emerald, but I just came up with a way that's sooo much easier. I'll edit that in now!

I always found getting Typhlosion to set up Sunny day to be too much of a hassle and not really worth it. I give mine a power herb for one free charge free solarbeam. works well to take out at least one poke with solarbeam, and it won't hurt feraligatr
