Everything in here was so incredibly beautiful, and so poignant! I love the way you mix the past with the present, and I really love little kid Falkner interacting with Hayate to bits. I'm really glad you brought in Hoenn and Winona, as well - she's got to be my favorite gym leader out of all the Hoenn gym leaders.
Maybe others would feel differently, but I think the length was by no means monstrous. Thank you so much for this!

I happen to have HUGE weakspots for not just family dynamics in general, but Falkner as well, so I (clearly!) had a blast writing this! *3* Winona was actually a last minute idea to incorporate, since I thought it would be interesting to see their interactions and there's like NOTHING on Winona, sob.

BTW you can post several parts to the fic if you're determined to post it on LJ--just spanning several posts. That's what other awesome writers do around here (myself not included, I only WISH I could write fics this gloriously long!)
