Where I come from, I barely let my Pokemon out at all. I've been nearly killed by a sadistic witch who could revive me as much as she pleased in order to toy me and my friends. I don't wanna hear anything about not caring for them for not letting them suffer through that. [Sorry Oak, you struck one sensitive Cord there. Her anger subsides in an almost shocking instant and shifts into a more calm mode.]

Besides, my dex broke five years ago. I've been a trainer without my license for at least five or six years back home, and it's not going to change here. If you wanna try taking my Pokemon though, by my guest. You can pry them from my old dead hands.

You don't even trust me enough to let me train my Pokemon. This isn't just training for me, you know. What would happen if I were to take a shot and you interfered? You could easily have one of my Pokemon killed, one of us killed, or I'd be wasting a bullet that needs to be lodged in the skull of a witch.
