[Gary can be found right outside the gym on the beach. He has a table out here and some coffee. Seems like he's waiting for somebody to show up, judging by the way he's sitting- coffee cup in one hand and a newspaper in the other.

Eventually Ash will approach, not exactly who Gary was expecting but he can deal.]

There are a lot of people to train with on the island. [he won't offer himself since his pokemon are way too high level]

There's always more to learn. But the best way to study them is out on the field in their natural environments.

I know. I just want to see what I can figure out on my own first. Chuchu seems happy enough, so I think I haven't done anything too off yet.

That is true. And Pokemon can be so different, it'd be amazing to see how some of the species live together.

That's a good sign. But don't be afraid to ask for help. It can safe you plenty of headaches.

They really are amazing. Water pokemon that live in the ocean are fascinating. [because there are just so many of them] But I study fossil pokemon the most.

[Giggles.] I will! I've met a lot of very kind people on the Island. [So many social links~]

Really? [Pauses.] Does your world have a way to revive some of the fossils yet?

Yeah. I managed to bring back an Aerodactyl. And there's a herd of wild Shieldon in Sinnoh now.

They were able to make a whole herd?!

[coleads]

Yeah, pretty impressive, huh?

It is! I'm surprised they could find that many fossils.

[coleads]

Guess they got lucky with that one.

They must have...amazing.

It really was. I got to make sure they'd thrive under the current Sinnoh conditions. [I'm pretty awesome.]

You can? Even though that much time has passed for them?

Yeah. The last time I saw them they were doing really well.
