[There seems to be an odd trail of snow on the ground, especially when the mountains are miles away, but there are strangers things here than that. Green ends up following a bit of the trail anyway; it's somewhat going in the same direction he wants to go, and gives him something to do as he heads off to do training. Something tells him that he's close to whatever's leaving the snow behind as it stops becoming melted puddles and starts looking fresher. A stray Pokemon, perhaps?]

[He idly reaches for Eevee's pokeball on the back of his belt, but freezes entirely once he looks up and sees what's actually ahead]

[People =/= Red's area of expertise, so he ignores the footsteps, assuming whoever it is will go somewhere else on their own.]

... [Footsteps not going away. Straightening his hat, he turns around... just in time to see Green stop walking.] !

[Tenses slightly, eyes flickering away from and back to Green's gaze. What, he totally didn't promise not to go back or anything.]

[It was an unwritten and unsaid promise made only in Green's mind, but it was still a promise - so obviously it's all Red's fault and he will pay for it later in some shape or form. But Green's a little too occupied with simply staring in shock; finding Red after long disappearances are always going to result in shock no matter how many times it happens]

[Except he's getting a little quicker with getting over it now. So he'll just stomp his way forward now and point an accusing finger at the melting snow]

[Red is surprised to see Green as well, to some extent, but... well, being emotional isn't really his strong suit. He just stares at Green levelly; his pen and paper are gone, and he never did learn that sign language, so if Green wants to calm down any time soon...?]
