[Here's a Paul. Here is a thirty-two year old Paul. Sipping his coffee at the dinner table, doing some reading. Just another new day without his son in the house, la de da de daaa~
Welp, it's that time. Better check the mail.
He opens the door to find...
This is NOT where he lives. This is NOT Veilstone. He turns around. But this IS his house.
Huh.
He's

oh wait the door closed.
oh wait there he is. PURPLE HAIR WHAT.
oh there went the door again.
oh there he is again. Shit, that is him, isn't it.
Don't mind the Nidoran he's holding. That is female and also purple. His MUCH YOUNGER AGE should be the striking detail, probably.]

This is actually an ideal place to train... the people here are much stronger than the trainers back home. Puts things into perspective... other than that, just live. There's no League or Battle Frontier here, but plenty of the big-name people are here regardless. A son.

He looks to be eight in this particular picture, a little messed up from a day of summer adventures.]

He's going to...laugh]
Hahaha, kid! I've forgotten how bad you were! [He's going to get a few more chuckles out aaand sigh~]
Now... get the hell out my house. I've already had my lifetime full of your childish issues and I have no intention of dealing with them again.

This will not be my future.

Though if he came here, couldn't Peter? He looked at the broken picture on the floor.
To the empty house-]
Just because you don't want this future doesn't mean you have to hurt mine.
