[Out of the woods and into the CMA bursts a Doduo, a teenager clinging to its back, one hand latched onto each of its necks.]

OUTTA TH'WAY! [She warns anyone in the path of the speeding Doduo, trying for the life of her to stay on its back.

...Help? Run? Get trampled?]

[Huh? Is that...] Marilou?

[But then he sees that she's coming straight at him on a Doduo's back and that he should probably-oh, I don't know, move!] W-woah!

[Quickly moves out of your way so that you don't run him down, watching you speed around wondering if he should help or something]

[No worries, she's totally got this! Except the part where she doesn't. It'll have to get tired eventually! She notices Michael when he dodges, but doesn't wave to him due to hanging on for dear life.]

Oh, hey Michael! [She greets him with as much nonchalance as if she weren't clinging to the back of a wild Pokemon.]

Uh, are you okay? Do you need help? [He's not sure if you're just riding around out of fun or need serious help to be stopped :|]

Nah, I got it! It'll wear itself out 'fore too long. [She shouts, and as if on cue, the Doduo begins to slow, its breathing labored, until it eventually comes to a stop, exhausted.]

[Oh, good. He comes over closer now that there's no danger of him being trampled at the moment.] So uh, why were you riding around on it like that?

Well, I wanted t'catch it, so I jumped it, and it bolted. Simple's that. [Yes, this is how she catches all her Pokemon.]

That's an...interesting way of trying to catch it. [Which may be an understatement but that's the first word that comes to mind-because really, who catches their Pokemon like that?]

[Crazy people, apparently. She doesn't want her other Pokemon to get hurt, after all, hence why Pokabu's in his ball at the moment to keep him safe.] I can't gain its respect without takin' it down m'self, now can I? 'Sides, no one gets hurt this way! Well, 'cept maybe me, but what's a few broken bones between friends, right?

I guess...but ah, you know, there's nothing wrong with your Pokemon helping you catch a Pokemon too sometimes, since they'll be becoming friends with their new teammate soon enough, and they'll have each other's respect as well! [Not to mention that it could be extremely dangerous if you had tried to catch something bigger than a Doduo without help from your Pokemon, but I digress...]

Shoot, but they're not too strong yet, and battlin' not really my forte, y'know? I ain't gonna make 'em fight if they don' have to. [Exhausted from the run, and too weak now to continue standing with the weight of a human on it's back, the Doduo falls over, sending Marilou onto her butt on the ground.]

Ouuuch.... I'm okay!

[Michael can't help but laugh at that before offering a hand to help her back up] Well, I suppose I can't argue with that...

[Marilou takes it, gripping a little harder than someone of her size should be able to, and pulls herself up.] Thanks, kid. [Pulling an empty Pokeball from her pocket, she tosses it at the downed Doduo. It wobbles weakly before falling still in a successful capture.]

See? Not too shabby, innit? [Aside from being covered in cuts and bruises, that is.]

Yeah... [Still an odd way to capture Pokemon, but...then again, the Pokemon he's captured were Pokemon that he had snagged from other trainers (granted, they were shadow Pokemon that needed to be cured) with his Flygon being the one of few expections, having been caught naturally in the desert as a Trapinch, but really, what did he know about proper methods of catching Pokemon? :|b]

[Anyway, he notices your cuts and bruises, sounding concerned and wondering if you need a first aid kit or something] Are you going to be okay?

[She gives him a clueless look before she realizes what he's talking about.] Oh! Nah, I'll be fine. I've had a lot worse, believe me. Didn't get no broken bones this time!
