[ ohh, what's this? a mysterious mansion has appeared on the island! it's awfully dark outside, but it's easy enough to make out that this mansion is quite old. the scent of dust and aged wood hangs heavy in the night air- wait.. was it dark before? just how late is it? so humid, too..
and that humidity becomes outright moisture as a gentle shower begins. you may as well stop in for a moment, right? no sense in staying outside in the rain. as creepy as this mansion is, there's something almost.. welcoming about the soft lamplight upstairs. well, that and the fact that the front door is creaking open, seemingly beckoning you inside.
... huh? is that the sound of-.. a little girl laughing? suddenly, a quiet voice echoes in your head: ]
