Citizens of Awesome Island, I address you!
*A deformed-looking Croagunk runs into the CMA and looks around nervously. In a puff of smoke, it reveals itself to be Looker*
Pah! I must be getting a new one of those... Now, I make a message to the inhabitants of the Awesome Island.
During my investigations in this place, what I have been doing is following the trail of the Team Galactic. I have been learning of some quite startling news that has led me to open the investigation to you, the public.
I have learned of a schism between members of the Team Galactic on the Awesome Island. There are being two opposing factions. One appears to involve most of the well-known members of the Team Galactic, primarily the Commander Mars and the Commander Charon. The other is a breakaway group apparently headed by rogue agents whose only known identities are "Janus" and "Neptune."
Oh, but that is not all that there is. The existing faction of the Team Galactic appears to have largely reverted to peaceful means, at least for now. What is frightening to me is that the rogue, uncontrolled faction is active in something codenamed "Operation Gigarig," the meaning of which I do not yet actually know, except that it will spell trouble for us all if it comes to fruition.
This is why I come to you, the general populace of the Awesome Island. I require your assistance in halting this Operation Gigarig before whatever it is they are planning actually happens. Vigilance is a must right now, for everyone. If anyone at all learns anything about this impending disaster, you must be informing me at once of it! As Looker, the globe-trotting elite agent of the International Police's special forces, I will stake my reputation on protecting this place!
