He gave some of them away, but he still had a whole lot of them. And he kept them of course, because he's Ash!

And where did he keep them? With his pokemon!

Which means if you're near a certain green gym/clinic you will see a bunch of tiny baby

[Crap, caught. Sneasel doesn't act startled or waver in his concentration, though- he grabs the egg and gets ready to flee.]

[Garchomp'll block it's way, along with a giant island turtle and a fussy Mienshao, who seems to start scolding Sneasel.]

going back to fussing over all the babies- one of the Snivy is tugging at Ash's pants- which means it gets a couple of pets]
